- Switch off and unplug the filter before cleaning.
- Remove the sponge and filter media carefully.
- Rinse media gently using removed aquarium water.
- Do not use soap, detergent, or hot water.
- Clean the sponge and media every 1–2 weeks, based on fish load.
- Replace worn or clogged filter materials every 2–3 months.
- Ensure the filter is securely fitted on the aquarium before operation.
- Maintain the correct water level for proper pump performance.

Ordered the Hang-On Filter from Nagpur and it’s perfect for my L-shaped tank! Since it hangs outside, the inside view remains clear and uncluttered. It runs quietly and keeps the water clean without taking up space. Installation was simple and the build quality is good. Giving 4 stars only because I wish the flow control was a bit more adjustable. Still, it’s an excellent filter for unique tank shapes. Highly recommended for space-saving setups!
